This charming six-person cottage deep in the picturesque Cornish countryside – but only 2 miles from the pristine coastline – sets you up for a scenic holiday with your loved ones. It’s located in the sleepy hamlet of Rosecare, with Crackington Haven (2 miles) as your nearest beach. There you can partake in an array of activities from surfing and rock pooling to peaceful beach lounging during low tide.

On entering, head up a flight of stairs to reach the heart of the home, a stylish lounge furnished with plush seating, a Smart TV and a warming wood burner on chillier evenings. This space is beautifully decorated in neutral shades, with tasteful decorative touches added so you feel at home. When it’s time for a cuppa, step into the contemporary kitchen/diner, which is equipped with all the essentials you need for cooking and a dining table for meals. The rear garden is accessible via both the lounge and the kitchen, and includes a seated patio area, seating, a grassy space and a charcoal BBQ setting you up for al fresco dinners. At the front of the house, a second outdoor spot opens yet more opportunities for enjoying the fresh air.

Feel like discovering the region on foot? The magnificent coastline offers numerous hiking trails for outdoor enthusiasts. Join the South West Coast Path at Crackington Haven for wonderful walks taking in rocky coves and golden sands. Ten miles to the north also takes you to the stunning Hartland Cornwall Heritage Coast. If you feel like wandering around a historic fishing village, head to Boscastle (6.5 miles). The legendary Tintagel Castle (10.5 miles), reputedly the birthplace of King Arthur, is also an excellent option for an afternoon out.

A very comfortable and perfectly equipped holiday home. Stunning location where you can watch the sun set over the sea from the window and walk through the countryside from your doorstep. A spacious place to spend time with family and friends, we made some wonderful memories being conveniently located to local beaches and places of interest.
